In her current role, Katie supports collaborative evidence syntheses and health research by providing methodological services and support, training, contextualization, and promoting capacity building. As part of the BC SUPPORT Unit Northern Centre, Katie works with researchers and teams to promote and support meaningful patient engagement in health research and evidence syntheses.
Katie was raised on Vancouver Island, but has lived in Prince George since 2010. She has a MSc in Health Sciences from UNBC focusing on the mental health and well-being impacts of natural resource extraction in Northwest BC. In her spare time, she can be found outside mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
