Nhan has a combination of over 4 years’ experience in Communications, Marketing, Events, and Customer Service. In his previous roles as a Communication Coordinator, Nhan took responsibilities in enhancing engagement between company’s internal and external stakeholders, improving brand’s positioning, and developing international business partnerships. In addition, experience working in Customer Service also allows him to sharpen his effective communication, understanding clients’ needs, and customer care skills.
Through these experiences, Nhan believes that building good communication strategies on suitable mediums is fundamental to foster effective information exchange between organization’s stakeholders. Moreover, he also emphasizes the importance of communications in making the benefits of clinical trials and health science research more sensible to the public.
Nhan holds a bachelor degree in Professional Communication at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a bachelor degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Besides, he is also a recipient of Provost’s Scholarship program and included in the Honor’s List upon his graduation.
In his free time, Nhan goes hiking, reads books about different cultures and civilizations, plays music on his guitar, teaches yoga to his friends, and participates in activities promoting Vancouver’s tourism destinations.
